The item has an adjustable umbrella hole and is compatible with umbrellas with a diameter less than 9.9mm. The diameter of bottom hole is about 15.8mm which enables light stand with 5/8″ knob. It also has 1/4″ & 3/8″ threads and is compatible with 1/4″ & 3/8″ tripod ballhead. The cold shoe adaptor can be adjusted between 16-20mm, suitable for most speedlights with standard hotshoe, supported flashguns include Nikon SB-900, SB-800, SB-600, Canon 580EX II, 430EX II, 550EX, etc, it’ not compatible with Sony or minolta flashgun (requires an adapter). The Adjustable Shoe Mount Umbrella Bracket is designed to fit directly to a light stand allowing you to use a hot-shoe mountable flashgun in conjunction with an umbrella off-camera. The adjustable shoe mount is designed to take most standard hot shoe fitting flashes (Sony/Minolta requires an adapter) including recent wider-foot models such as the Nikon SB900, while the ratchet design of the tilt movement ensures the bracket will lock into place securely.
